TASKS OF EXAMINATION COMMITTEE

2.1 Overview tasks

1. Legislation

a. Creating, implementing and announcing policies and rules concerning examinations. Once a year the current policies and rules, are updated if necessary.

b. Setting admission procedures and criteria for prospective students, other than those as specified by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE).

c. The results prepared by the examination department are checked and approved by the examination committee prior to their publication on the HEIK website notice boards.

2. Supervision

a. Supervising the examination rules with observance of the common legal principles: equality, legal security, legitimacy, reasonableness, fair play etc.

3. Examinations

a. Supervising examinations halls.

4. Discipline

a. Taking disciplinary action in cases of cheating, fraud and plagiarism and referring the offending party to the Disciplinary Committee.
