ADMISSION PROCEDURES
Admission procedure
Those students who are interested in seeking admissions to HEIK shall go through the admissions process for their requested program. Students need to produce photocopies of the required documents along with the admissions form, and submit them on or before the admission deadline. The following documents need to be submitted:
1. 1. Four Pictures
2. 2. Admission Form (Duly filled)
3. 3. Twelfth grade schooling certificate (Shahadat Nama) for admission into Bachelor Program
4. 4. Three Year Marks from the 10th, 11th and 12th grades.
5. 5. Original Afghanistan citizenship documents (Tazkira/Passport)
6. 6. All certificates of professional achievement and any additional qualifications, if any (Recommended)
7. 7. Passing the entry test exam.
8. 8. Curriculum vitae (Recommended)
- After submitting all necessary documents, the prospective student will be informed of the date of the entry test and also receive an examination card. After which the student shall pay the respective fee.
Admission criteria
- Completion of ten years of schooling for diploma program, twelve years of schooling for bachelor program, and four years of bachelor for master program
- Proof of all the required documents as stated above in admission procedure
- Pass the entry test with a score of at least 40 out of 100 for degree programs/ passing of interview for non-degree programs/ (short) courses.
Students who completed their education in Afghanistan
Those students who have completed their education in Afghanistan should receive their Twelfth Grade Certificate from the Ministry of Education (MOHE).
1. a. In case the Ministry of Education has not issued the Twelfth Grade Certificate, the student must submit the Three Years Marks of Grade 10th, 11th and 12th. After confirming those documents, the prospective student may be given a conditional admission to enroll in the school.
Students who completed their education in a foreign country
Students who completed their education in a foreign country should:
- Obtain their documents from Ministry of (Higher) Education Affairs in the country where they received their education.
- Bring those documents to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country where they received their education.
- Attest these documents from the Council General Office of Afghanistan in the country where they received their education.
- Bring those documents to the Embassy of Afghanistan in the country where they received their education.
- Receive an Equivalency Certificate of education from Foreign Affairs & Ministry of (Higher) Education/Ministry of Education (MoE) in Afghanistan.
- Bring all documents to HEIK, including an Equivalency Certificate of education they have received from MOHE/
