Research on Parlimentray Election:

Karwan students participated in the parliamentary election perception survey. They were hired by Kabul Group research organization. The target group of survey were shura leaders, Independed Election Commission (IEC) officials and disables. Before survey students participated in intensive training and learned how to conduct the interviews and make sure understand all questions to be asked. They were equipped with sound systems. Students done excellent job, later on all interviews were translated and submitted to Kabul Group.  
 

Nasir Naimee tell us about how he feels at Karwan and what will be its plan for the future.
Before my studies I worked as sales officer in a medicine company. Then I choose Karwan to study because they have the right diploma that I was looking for and it reaches my expectations. Teachers here are really hard workers, they always have modern notes, they help us a lot showing the right path and convincing us to study more and more. I study in a 2years Economic Diploma as I would like to be an economist. Maybe would like to be maybe first lecturer then work in private services or a bank. My elder brother is helping me a lot to obtain my diploma. Since I am a child I struggle a lot to be the best, I respect my teachers and I give myself goals. When you want to be the best you have to think about three things: Confidence, Spirit, Effort. But you have to work hard as well. This diploma gives me the opportunity to get better; it reaches the current needs of our country. I wish to go abroad after my studies that will end in 2011.

Wais Ahmad
Before Joining EDBA, I was working at Kabul Bank. When I finished my diploma at Higher Education Institute of Karwan. I felt like I was not the same person like I was 4 months ago. I improved my skills and now I got EDBA diploma. I found myself much better and tried to promote, then I start finding a job and now I am working as Administrator and Logistic officer at DDP (District Delivery Program).

I would like to thanks all my teachers that thought me very well and in a standard way.  My EDBA has been very effective for me to get new job with double salary.

Halima talks to us about how she became one of the best in her class. “I have choose Karwan because of the quality. Before joining HEIK I was working as administrator at Altaqwa Scool. After my accounting diploma, I obtain a position at Pashtany Bank as operational officer.
 My dreamed job would be to have a good position in Afghan National Bank. I became the best of my class because I have been hard worker, always respecting teachers, studying hard, and learning at night. My dream is to become head of the national bank of Afghanistan so it is why it gives me the energy to become the best.”
Her classmate Muhammad Fahim Stanekzai son of Muhammad Masoom Stanekzai, him, choose Karwan because of the good organization and the qualified teacher. “I learned a lot and I feel more confident for my post; I was cashier, I am now head cashier at Azizi Bank. My dreamed job would be to open my own bank, here in Afghanistan.

Sibghat Ullah Rahimee, 19 year old accounting student, obtained his diploma in January 2010. Before he worked for Afghan children at ASHIANA and now he is sale supervisor for Etisalat. His dreamed job would be having his own trading business. “this diploma did changed my life because before I didn’t know anything about accounting, now I know more about how to run a business. I choose Karwan  because I hear from my friends that it is a good place for study. I first came here to met the teacher.

and I decided to stay.” When we asked him how he explain his success as a talented student he answered that “Yes the Diploma reach my expectations and even I reach more than my expectation, I was working hard, I liked what I studied, so I put all my effort in it. Reaching my goals is my principal motivation”. Karwan encourage its students to have an international view. Sibghat Ullah Rahimee will study in Russia next September. We wish him good luck.
