HEIK maintains its human resource department functional throughout the year. Backed by its HR policies, HR Department serves the nationals as well as expats in an appropriate manner.
At HEIK HR departments follows a simple structure to recruit and select employees both Faculty and Administrative Staff Members. Some of the methods followed to recruit employees for HEIK are stated below;
Recruitment Process: Recruitment process takes at least 2-3 weeks as the advertisement about the vacancies are uploaded on the job search databases and they are published in the national dailies. Most common job search engines where HEIK places its advertisements and job opportunities are www.acbar.org, www.jobs.af, www.karyabee.com and www.karwan.edu.af.
Selection Process: Once the recruitment process has begun, the HR Department triggers the selection criteria and CVs along with the cover letters. They are quickly downloaded and the process of shortlisting of the relevant candidates’ begins. Once the relevant candidates’ CVs are collected, the applicants are called upon specified dates. Interviews are conducted by the recruitment Board. Successful candidates then go for a demonstration sessions, which require the candidate to teach subjects to the students of the relevant classes.
After successful classroom demonstrations, the applicants are given offers for their prospective services. Upon accepting the offer letters, applicants are given a yearly contract and they finally become the part of the HEIK Family.
