Karwan's Chairman has reached washington DC, to participate in Afghan-American Match making conference to search for karwan's affiliation with the worlds most prestigious Universities.
Engineering Faculty at HEIK is in the process of registration with the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) and hopefully would be registered before the upcoming Entry Test of HEIK to be held at a later date. Our Faculty’s reputation is built on a proud history of excellence in teaching, research and community service. Our prospective students would receive an exceptional engineering education that would prepare them for rewarding careers. Our alumni shall be known not only for their academic achievements but also for their professional conduct and commitment to the betterment of the society.
Our Faculty is also a vibrant research community that attracts more external research funding annually and is at the forefront of the new discoveries.

Curriculum Guidelines
Members of the Civil Department participate in consultation and research ventures as needed by governmental and private agencies. These research activities broaden the practical knowledge of the faculty, staff and students of Architecture.
The curriculum has been designed in a way while keeping in mind the caliber of the students to be enrolled and the faculty to be hired for teaching various subjects. Some of the subjects are too frequently updated and thus they require more updated information, often not available in usual text or reference books. Thus the instructors may acquire some other sources for getting proper and fact full information related to various subjects, issues or situations, to be taught as a part of the program.
In order to educate students and acquaint them with scientific knowledge using advanced Bachelor’s Degree and the Board of Research and Advanced Studies of Higher Education Institute of KARWAN has opted to launch the Program using six months semester plans.
Being a degree of four years and that too Engineering Sciences related, some of subjects may not be deemed as appropriate to be taught on a regular basis, therefore the Institute, after a thorough assessment of the courses offered may drop or add an old or a new subject/course as and when deemed necessary.
During the last semester (s) the students of Civil Engineering shall begin to complete their projects and dissertations while studying in the same last semesters if required. The students may undertake their projects at the end of the semesters, after fulfilling all the related requirements.
Technical electives are courses within the Faculty of Engineering
Non-Technical electives are taken outside the Faculty of Engineering
